angielski Being a fan of Demi Lovato is not a piece of cake. I never get tired of receiving her different genre albums that still always have something worth listening to, but ever since July 24, 2018, I have felt a significant chill with every new article about her personal life. And even though it's a relief to finally see her in a better mood, I still have a strange feeling that she's dangerously close to a tragic end. This is not the first time I have watched a documentary where Demi herself looks at old concert recordings or interviews and sadly comments on being under the influence of various addictive substances – even in moments when she sincerely shared how clean and content she felt. And I can't shake the feeling that the situation will never completely change. Maybe it's because of her family's cautious comments, maybe it's the overly optimistic view of her friends and team, or maybe it's the cautious shift of her eyes off-camera when directly asked if heroin still has a role in her life. The catharsis from her confessions about her mental state, childhood, physical traumas, and everything else is nearly unbearable. I was really suffering through the first three episodes. The fourth, which is supposed to offer a glimpse into a bright future creatively and personally, holds back my optimism. When Demi herself, with healthy (?) self-confidence, says she still tries to dance with this devil, I instantly fear that the fateful date will somehow repeat itself. ()
