Alt for Beffen

With no seafaring experience, Linda Holmedal is taken by surprise when her father, on his deathbed, implores her to take care of his beloved ferry "Beffen". This tiny little ferry traffics a 2 minute route across Bergen harbour, and is the last remnant of a 125 year old tradition of tiny ferries. This charming and moving documentary chronicles Linda’s journey to making her fathers life project her own, and depicts Beffen’s importance to Linda and the citizens of Bergen through everyday observations and situations.
