As much as I feel for Helen Mirren not getting her moment in the Harry Potter universe, this was a real disaster. The questions were laughably basic, making you wonder if it was all just a joke. The contestants seemed to be chosen more for their looks than their knowledge. Maybe it plays well in the UK, but it’s a total miss for me.

This is the ultimate cringe that I wanted to turn off before I got to the 10th minute. Absolutely embarrassingly orchestrated competition that is pre-scripted, the questions are uninteresting, the host and contestants are the epitome of all correctness in every way and even I, as a total Potter fan, felt like running for the vomit bucket because this really isn't possible. America strikes again.
