Pobo 'Tzu' - Noche blanca

In 1982, the eruption of the Chichonal volcano buried the Zoque town of Esquipulas Guayabal. Thirty-seven years later, the communal land shareholders of Nuevo Guayabal rebuild their lives while the volcano and the buried town lurk in the undergrowth. Trinidad, a poet born on the day of the eruption, has dreamlike visions that quickly spread through his community, sparking a collective effort to unearth the old home.
