The film is terribly long, which is very detrimental to it. However, it's not all that bad, only your attention gradually diminishes, so you won't really enjoy the final showdown, which is actually interesting and thematically innovative. Unfortunately, it is not well directed as a whole and at times you will suffer rather than delight. Gregory Peck in an excellent but gradually boring role.
