Cinéma de notre temps : Une journée d'Andrei Arsenevitch

The film looks at the life and career of director Andrei Tarkovsky. As Tarkovsky approached death, the Soviet authorities finally allowed his son to visit him in Paris. The film shows the meeting, discusses recurrent themes in Tarkovsky’s work, and includes footage of him filming the final scene of The Sacrifice, as well as clips from his films.
