Lipstick of the Brave celebrates the queer icons of music and film and depicts the journey of madstone rowan as they draw inspiration from these icons to embrace a broader view of gender and expression. The animation by academy award nominated Bill Plympton is built around the song of the same name by Tripping Jupiter, showing madstone's journey in visuals and music. (Woodstock Film Festival)
