Many critics, comedians and TV fans have long considered Car 54, Where Are You? one of the most brilliant laugh out loud comedy series ever to appear on television. Creator Nat Hiken was already famous for his highly acclaimed Sgt. Bilko show, and when the opportunity to do another TV series came up, he threw himself into the task - writing, producing, casting and directing.
