The first part of The Ancient Magus' Bride: Those Awaiting a Star was enchanting, emotional, and a great all-around introduction. I found the second installment a bit weaker, and even the most intense scenes did not have the impact I would have expected. The enchantment is still there, and I found it interesting, even though I felt it flew by at an incredible speed and did not have the same impact. Well, I am now going to wait for the conclusion, and the news that there would be an anime series adaptation of the manga (to which this three-part OVA is a prequel) is making me happy already. 7/10.
