After her recent separation, Irene faces for the first time the absence of her four-year-old daughter, who is spending some days with her father. Unable to adapt to this new reality, she decides to travel to a small village in the Catalan Pyrenees where she has a house, seeking to restore the sense of security and tranquility that she feels she has lost long ago. However, the place, which was so familiar in the past, gradually becomes as overwhelming as her new life, and will eventually force her to stop running away and face her fears.
