Cirque du Soleil : Varekai

Cirque du Soleil is an unforgettable experience mainly live (although not every single part is worthy of an A+ — see recent performances in Prague), which, of course, does not mean that this performance, which pushes the limits of human flexibility and dexterity and defies all the laws of physics, didn’t make my jaw drop and my neck hurt from constantly twisting my head around and thinking: "that’s impossible, it can't be done, he won't do it, it can't work out...". That in itself would be enough, but it also has perfect choreography, a magnificent musical score, and a murderous pace that makes Varekai the best possible advertisement for the new circus.
