El vigilante

From the construction site where Salvador works as a security guard, the lights of Mexico City glimmer in the distance. Soon after he starts his night shift, he is questioned by an officer about a crime that took place the night before. Salvador's statement diverges from that of his cagey night watch partner, Hugo, who refuses to change his statement to match Salvador's. The uncertainty surrounding what happened creates tension and fear between the coworkers. (Los Angeles Film Festival)
