Pompéi, le secret de la villa de Civita Giuliana

After the international success of the film The last hours of Pompeii, GEDEON Programmes has followed on the latest discoveries in Pompeii. In February 2021, the teams from the Archaeological Park of Pompeii unearthed an astoundingly well-preserved, almost intact Roman ceremonial chariot. To date, this ornate chariot is the first of its kind to be discovered.  The scientists name it the Lamborghini of its Era. Our investigation takes us back to ancient Rome in order to understand the context in which this chariot was used and try and decipher who the owners were and what was their social status. We explore with the help of 3D imagery how the traffic was managed in such a thriving City and what kind of Horse carriage were used in those days. What would the traffic have looked like in the streets of Pompeii? As the investigation goes on new clues and corpses are found shedding light on the secrets of the  Villa Giuliana and the last days of its inhabitants. (Terranoa)
