Poslední nosorožec

The short documentary captures the efforts to preserve the nearly extinct northern white rhinoceros. The question of its existence thus fully moves from the African savannah to the Czech ZOO in Dvůr Králové. The only hope for the survival of the northern white rhinoceros is the female Fatu, the only representative of her species capable of reproduction. However, some keepers do not approve of the fertilization processes she is forced to undergo. And so the documentary raises the moral question of whether the fact that this is the last chance to preserve an endangered species mitigates such an unnatural and painful experiment to which the animal is subjected.
