Nombre de guerra: Miguel Henríquez

Miguel Enríquez was the founder of the Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria (Revolutionary Left Movement), MIR for short. Thus, after Salvador Allende, he was arguably the most important political figure in 1960s and '70s Chile. Enríquez withdrew underground and took up armed resistance until he was murdered by secret police operatives on 5 October 1974. This is his story. (International Film Festival Rotterdam)
