On the Mediterranean shore, a pair of scuba divers crack open a cold one. They had a successful dive—they found another piece of evidence on the achievements of a Czech officer aboard an Austrian war submarine. A landlocked country having naval history is no laughing matter. A group of enthusiasts in cooperation with the Czech Diving Team has been tracing Czech nationals in the Austro-Hungarian naval fleet. Finding evidence both in books and in submarine wrecks underwater. They specialize in the First World War and view their study subjects not only as members of the military. Their life stories, relationship towards their home country, and what they left behind interests them as well.
