Galopem przez pusztę

In the seventies, on one of the farms in Wyoming state Brady, the former bomber pilot shoots his old horse Aranka. The past is recalled. In 1944 his aeroplane was shot above Debrecen, he and his companion reached ground wounded, by parachutes in the reeds of Hortobágy. Puszta folk get a doctor for him, hide them from the chasing Gestapó-commando, urging them to ever changing places. Brady and Miki, the herder boy develop a close friendship, and Aranka, the horse saves Brady's life. They three escape across the border to Yugoslavian partisans.
