TANTRA - Beyond the boundaries of pleasure? Another perspective on life and sex. Do you want to know yourself better? Do you wish to deepen the relationship with your partner? Although the sexual revolution is long past, we often have sex in the dark and feel ashamed to talk about it. Pornography is all-pervading but love-making and passion still remains a taboo. Hundreds of Czech men and women have decided to shift the boundaries of their body perception through Tantra. The documentary looks inside the world of tantric seminars led by experienced instructors John Hawken and Alan Lowen. The film brings intimate testimonies of people whose lives have been changed by Tantra. It shows sex in ways we are not used to. Unlike other Eastern spiritual practices and ideas, such as yoga or meditation, Tantra eploys sensuality and sexuality to achieve self-realization.
