Le Théâtre de la jeunesse : Le secret de Wilhelm Storitz

A solidly atmospheric film, interesting from the beginning to the slightly set-up ending. Among other things, it contains a fantastic special effects scene of an invisible man fencing with a visible one. The relocation of the story from the (fictional) Hungarian town of Ragz to Prague was to the film's advantage, because our city of a thousand spires is perfect for stories like this. It's a pity the filmmakers didn't correct the flaw in Verne's book, where people disappear with their clothes after drinking the invisibility drink. (12.06.2012)
