Even though it might seem like a classic family movie about a young boy and his pet, in this case, a beautiful black stallion as the title suggests, you'll actually find scenes here that are interesting and not so mainstream. This is especially evident in the island sequence, where there is virtually no talking. It's just a slightly different experience.
