Jerome Hill (1905-1972) was an artist, a philanthropist and one of the founders of the Anthology Film Archives. He financed and helped Jonas Mekas to achieve many artistic projects and had many friends in common. This film was shot in 1966, 1967 and 1974, and edited in 1978. Its images were recorded during Mekas’ many visits to Hill’s house in Cassis, in the region of Provence. It is some sort of elegy for his friend and accomplice that celebrates his life and, at the same time, honors his memory. (Mar del Plata International Film Festival)
