"Le Grand Balcon" is a family boarding house in Toulouse, managed by Mademoiselle Adeline and caters to pilots from the famous Toulouse-Casablanca Aéropostale (air mail) line. Among them is Gilbert Carbot, the top man in the company, and his right arm man, Fabien.
