Dvaždy rožďonnyj

Early spring, 1942. A small Soviet steamboat carrying the wounded to Arkhangelsk is sunk by the Germans. The only survivor is a young soldier called Andrey Bulygin. The German pilot von Betger notices him and starts the pursuit. But Andrey knows he must survive and reach his troops to tell them about what happened and deliver the last letters of those who got killed. (Moscow International Film Festival)
