In this ABC Family Original Movie, quirky Violet (Christy Carlson Romano) moves to a new high school in an upscale suburban town and quickly learns her proper place as an “outsider” at a school where the cool kids rule. Tired of being pushed around, she hatches a plan to start a tabloid newspaper about the exploits of her classmates and publishes it anonymously. Katey Sagal stars as Violet’s mom who encourages her to tackle the injustices of high school society until she realizes Violet is starting to act just like the cool kids she set out to defeat in the first place.
