Loop

The stylized picture balancing between an acted and documentary film came to existence as part of the Europe Around Us project. Four directors from the Vishegrad Four got a chance to express their attitudes towards their home countries. Loop is dedicated to Slovakia. Milan Balog, a recent graduate from VSMU and probably the most promising Slovak documentary filmmaker, continues to work in the style of his previous works. He combines documentary, essayistic and fictional methods. The film about the past and the present Slovakia has a very sarcastic, cynical undertone. (Doc Alliance Films)
