From a filmmaker's perspective, only the first installment of the film series holds up, while the second one had a silly script but still had a charismatic hero and decent action scenes. I wisely avoided the third one and instead watched all three episodes of the TV series. It is just a mishmash that capitalizes on the success of the film series with a hero who is literally the opposite of what a Blade fan would imagine, with a sterile plot and zero atmosphere. A waste of time. Overall impression: 20%.
