The youngest children have Teletubbies, while slightly older kids or those who are completely grown-up have Power Rangers S.P.D. I came across the series accidentally on YouTube and I couldn't believe it. I could just say "Oh for Christ's sake!" and get on with life, but the conservative in me cannot resist commenting that it is disturbing to live in a world where Power Rangers actually have viewers and it obviously paid off for the producers to film the series. This then brings to mind Huxley's novel "Brave New World"... There are worthy wastes of time, those stumbling blocks along the way that the creator can get up from and move on, but I don't think anyone can climb out of this pit. Overall impression: 0 triple underscore.
