Tibor Zeyk, 49, a writer, lingers miserably in the night of the capital. His wife is an actress in the province, fatigued, listless, embittered with becoming old. Though merely formal by now, the romantic gestures of their marriage are strictly observed by both of them. Zsolt, a professional boy prostitute not yet of age, reaches out for Zeyk at the right moment. But the affair turns into tragedy: Zeyk falls in love with the boy, becoming subject to being blackmailed, exploited, humiliated by him. Moreover, Zsolt also seduces Edit, the wife. The hysterical clash of the married couple ruins their apparent harmony. Zsolt persuades Zeyk to perjury, and then threatens to commit suicide. The man, utterly humiliated and robbed, scrapes back home, but does not find his wife in the room where she normally should be. (Hungarotop)
