Co sprawia że podróż wydaje się niesamowita? Autostop i zatrzymane samochody, złe niedźwiedzie, kłujące jeżozwierze i grające w golfa gęsi oraz kaczki. Wystarczy zapytać Kate i Humphrey, dwa wilki, które próbują dostać się do domu, po złapaniu przez strażników leśnych i wywiezieniu na drugi koniec kraju. Humphrey jest wilkiem Omega, którego dni są szybkie i dowcip zgryźliwy, pochodzi on z kochającej rodziny wilków bawiących się z wiewiórkami. Kate jest wilkiem Alpha: lubi dyscyplinę i ma gładkie oko Lary Croft – ognia dodają jej bardzo zwinne ruchy. Te dwie zupełnie inne osobowości połączy wspólny cel, czyli powrót do domu. (Monolith)

Compared to the animated films of today, this one is really lame. There was no great adventure here and is it completely lacking humor. The story is not engaging for a young child, let alone an adult. The animation is not particularly well done either. I feel that this is more of a romance for children... which doesn’t quite make sense. For me, a good candidate for worst animated film of the last 10 years... barely 2 stars.

A variation on the story of Romeo and Juliet, with the difference being that there are basically just wild dogs here, and also with the difference that it is all an animated comedy for children. It appears to be family-friendly, but this is really primarily for children. Adults have nothing to enjoy here. Although there are moments of supposed suspense, it is clear from the beginning how each scene will turn out. There is no innovation even in the animation, which is smooth but empty.
