Jitsuroku Abe Sada

Although one could argue it's just a very simple film about a woman taking more than she should, I think it's a great example of how it's possible to capture desire that goes beyond the boundaries of what we're able to tolerate. Yet some will sacrifice themselves in some way to appease others. A very powerful film with great shots where you can't see anything but still get a chill or a shiver up your spine. (25.08.2016)
