The notorious Belle Starr meets the Dalton gang in a film starring Jane Russell as the title character. After two of the Dalton brothers, Bob (Scott Brady) and Grat (Roy Mallinson) save Belle from being lynched by a mob, they take her to a hideout that's shared by a number of outlaws, among them, Mac (Forrest Tucker). Hostilities grow between Bob and Mac, as both vie for Belle's affections. After a time, Bob leaves to plan the robbery of a gambling operation run by Tom Bradfield (George Brent). When, a short time later, a posse arrives looking for Belle, Mac assures her that it was sent by Bob. Believing Mac's story, she joins him in the robbery of Bradfield's salloon, making it look as though Bob's gang was behind it. She and Mac commit a number of robberies, all of which are blamed on Bob. She visits Bradfield's saloon again, now posing as a wealthy widow, with the intention or robbing his safe. But Brent, mesmerized by her charms, offers her a partnership in his business. But she's unaware that a banker's association has offered $100,000 to trap Belle and Bob Dalton. Standard western fare which suggests, with tongue in cheek, that Jane Russell, in cowboy drag, could pass for a man. (oficjalny tekst dystrybutora)
