angielski Laid to Rest is the kind of film that I would welcome a sequel in the hated “more of the same” style – a slasher flick, where a girl walks through a village and is followed by a masked killer; and great gore. This is something that can work forever, regardless of the bland direction. But what the hell, the creators of Laid to Rest didn’t want to make just a xerox copy of the first one and now we can have a look at the backstage of the murders, i.e. we get to know how things get ready, who helps Chrome Skull, etc., and a pretty big part of the film is dedicated to the police investigation. As a result, we don’t get proper action until the last act, and once again, it’s quite the carnage, though the previous hour brings things down. Yeah, and the fact that the village was replaced by some sort of ugly industrial warehouse doesn’t help, either. ()
