Après le Sud

The drama with four protagonists takes place in a blazing hot suburb of Marseille. A young couple experiences their first deep relationship fully whereas other people in the same settings suffer from frustration and loneliness. Some sequences repeat as a visual chorus, only the point of view changes according the character that experiences the story. The easy narration and subtle acting performance contrast with the spectacular visual style that often directly refers to Antonioni's The Red Desert.
