Café Moszkva

Lemberg is seized by Hungarian troops during the World War I. Veriusha, the wife of Suharov, a Russian field marshal, is trapped in the city, having previously been hiding in a night-club, Café Moscow, pretending to be a singer. She tries to persuade lieutenant Szilágyi to help her get across the front line, but the lieutenant's insulting response is a point-blank refusal. A few months later Lemberg is under Russian rule again, now it is lieutenant Szilágyi's turn to be trapped with two of his fellow officers. Veriusha, who lives in an unhappy marriage, falls in love with the Hungarian officer now a POW, and saves his life. (oficjalny tekst dystrybutora)
