Gradiva Esquisse I

Though inspired by Wilhelm Jensen's novella Gradiva, the film consciously lacks any psychoanalytical dimension. It begins and ends (or doesn't begin and doesn't end) in a state of timelessness that exists outside of the concepts of "before" and "after," with movement and time moving to the foreground. The result is a networked structure of images from which meaning shines through. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
