The Mooring

The Mooring is not a terribly bad horror film, but compared to the competition, it’s just not good enough, as well as very unoriginal and uninteresting. A pure slasher flick in a nice forest setting, with the meat for the butcher block coming in the form of pretty young girls, that’s not bad for a starting point. But what makes a slasher flick good are the (original or brutal) murders and, in particular, an interesting villain. Unfortunately, you won’t find anything like that here. (12.02.2013)
