Luke, 25, is autistic and lives a sheltered life with his grandparents. Sure, why worry? Luke might be autistic, but he’d love to find himself a girlfriend. The first one dumped him, but according to his own words, there still are 3.7 billion of them, so he’ll surely find one. Lou Taylor Pucci played Luke very well, in a human, ordinary way and with the exact amount of silliness I would have imagined. Luke might not be a genius – or Forrest Gump, but when asked, he’ll cook you 24 meals that his grandma taught him. And when it comes to this movie, that’s worth a taste, isn’t it?
