Behind a wall of water fountains and flowers, glow the red scarves of pioneers. Archival footage reminds us of the post-war ruin that children learn about in so that they will know that they country has blossomed into today’s beautiful land under the leadership of Kim Il-sung. The heroes of the long-ago battles tell their stories, and the pioneers listen with baited breath. Girls and boys exercise, and engineers teach them about technology. Foreign visitor say. “I wish I had been born in Korea, for Korean socialism is so good.” (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
