Anglia, rok 1941. Młoda nauczycielka Ewa ewakuuje grupę sierot z bombardowanego Londynu. Zatrzymują się z dala od miasta w opuszczonym od lat, odciętym od lądu domu na Węgorzowych Moczarach. W tym tajemniczym miejscu jej podopieczni zaczynają się dziwnie zachowywać. Ewa instynktownie wyczuwa obecność mrocznej siły, z którą sama nie jest w stanie walczyć. Prosi o pomoc Harrego – wojskowego pilota, stacjonującego w mieście. Mieszkające w domu zło jest bardziej przerażające niż koszmar bombardowanego Londynu. Unfortunately, the film suffers from the problem of sequels, where the creators attempt the same thing, just with slightly different characters. But in the end, they realize that it's always something different, and something is missing from it. This is basically a Japanese horror movie in an English setting, where it's just playing on the fact that some of the scenes are "really scary", but really they're just something you see all the time in horror movies and it's all a bit boring.
