The Olsen Gang has been given a task for the Prime Minister's Office: They are to steal Hans Christian Andersen's original quill pen from the Museum of Danish Export. But an old enemy of the gang has played a trick; the pen is actually part of a suspicious deal with China. The quill gets lost, Egon is kidnapped and the reward vanishes into thin air. But Egon has a plan - as always – and the Olsen Gang makes a plot to regain the quill, the national feeling and most important all the money.
