angielski I'm not going to give the film a poor rating just because most Czech comedies suck. Indeed, I'm glad that there is the occasional exception. And this one is one of them in my opinion. Of the characters, I was probably most entertained by Jan Dolanský, who I believed in his smoked out role. Donutil and Kuba Prachař were also perfect. The main heroine was charming and I don't think I wanted more from her. Only the bum who couldn't pick up a girl was a drag. All in all, a fine script with a few funny scenes, nice cinematography, an above average and unpretentious cast, and a nice soundtrack. I'll gladly watch it again. 3.5 stars. ()

angielski Whenever I’m faced with such desperate efforts to make an American-style teen comedy, I can’t help but wonder why it’s done. It always ends up being a giant cliché full of various smaller clichés, making it perfectly obvious for the viewer from the very beginning not only how the whole story will end, but, unfortunately, also how all that romantic and hilarious frolicking will progress. Well, this sure was a load of crap. Jakub Prachař was again cast in the role of a handsome individual, yet unacceptable in terms of character. Well, at least the sponsors got their money’s worth. ()

angielski If I turn a blind eye and take into account the deluge of awkward and horrendous comedies that have been made in our country in the last decade, then I can say with a clear heart that this movie is not that bad. However, I would probably have enjoyed it more if Veronika Khek Kubařová had gotten a bigger role in it. What I have no complaints about is the soundtrack. It was really good. (50%) ()

angielski Such a classic romantic comedy that you can get almost everywhere today. It is very clear that we have also copied the pattern from the Americans and there is simply one clear plot that can only appeal to some - occasionally funny. And yes, this Czech comedy is occasionally funny. Not much, but something can be found. Plus, I like Matouš Ruml. ()

angielski It's funny how little is said about the Italian film on which Janák based his latest romp. But who watches Italian films these days, right? So you’re telling me that this time the now infamous director is not targeting teens, but a young adult audience? Be that as it may, he has only created a patchwork of ingredients of the latest "successes" of Czech cinema. We have Mirek Donutil and his solo, and he’s a bit arrogant, a bit shrewd, but always egotistical. And since last time, the soundtrack has been taken care of by the proven Dan Bárta. If you don't have young people around you who would appreciate the film, don't even bother with it. Unless you appreciate scenes from a library or a bookstore. In the end, the only original thing about it is the poster. ()
