Šugáresu

An average, occasionally below average, watchable battle series. If you want to see young Japanese guys (boy band singers in real life) fighting, this is it. Throw your brain away, you don't need it for fisticuffs and cheerleading anyway (fortunately there's not too much philosophizing or pathetic proselytizing). An episode is less than half an hour long, so it all goes by quickly and the plot is beautifully brisk. It's just that the source material keeps coming out, and since this is obviously an advertisement for it, you don't get an ending. In other words, a poor little brother of Crows Zero, with a smaller helping of badass and a larger helping of broken bones and splattered blood. (22.04.2013)
