Dragon Nest: Wojownicy Świtu

I found this a slightly above-average movie. As far as the narrative is concerned, it is nothing amazing and basically a not-so-original typical fantasy adventure that you could come across in other movies and even in a lot of different fantasy games. I even liked the animation quite a lot at times, although there is too much emphasis on 3D. So we see slow-motion sequences and all sorts of movements that could look quite good in 3D even though they are rather irritating when viewed on a normal monitor; it was too much for my taste. The characters are quite interesting, and I grew fond of the main two protagonists, young Lambert and the elf Liyai (I hope I am spelling that right). The problem was that there were too many of these characters in the main group, so we could not get to know some of them very well, and yet the pairing of the witch and the priest, for example, seemed quite interesting. The soundtrack was pretty good. I also enjoyed the action scenes quite a lot, and it was not completely pointless (except for the 3D, as mentioned above, "slow-motion"). I was a bit disappointed with the dragon army; it did not come across as very scary; it was more comical at times. On the other hand, the black dragon was quite good. 6/10. (29.11.2015)

For the effort to bring something truly fantasy to the screen, I'll give it at least a slightly above-average rating, even though the animation is sometimes just atrocious and ugly. The effort is evident, but at times it's just not very pleasant to watch. Additionally, there are some script issues that the writer should have avoided, especially when it comes to the dialogue.
