A unique documentary film directed by a filmmaker from Zlín Libor Jeřábek from the company VIDEOART PRODUCTION ltd., maps humanitarian activities of Czech climbers Dina Štěrbová and Víťa Dokoupil from initial one-time planned help to the residents of the Arandu settlements located in the northern Pakistan in an inaccessible area at the altitude of 3000 m to the creation of a large humanitarian project, which is supported by the Czech Hospital Association. Thanks to this help, the people of Arandu get a fully equipped and self-sustaining hospital. Plenty of drugs and qualified health care showed its results during the first winter - no child died of pneumonia, even though in previous years 10 to 15 children a year usually died of this disease. Through their efforts and very beneficial activities, the humanitarian workers gradually gained the trust of the population of Arandu. A proof of this is a rare film footage of the most guarded privacy in Muslim families and overcoming taboos of a film ban on Muslim women and children. During the six years, Víťa was able to create a unique footage of the lives of local people, who are, thanks to their location, cut off from civilization and because of this, they still keep a lot of centuries-old traditions. The simplicity of their life is reflected in their peacefulness and tolerance, especially in family relationships. In 50 minutes, the film shows the wild splendor of nature and individual humanitarian projects of the two Czech climbers, which is globally absolutely unique.
