When a crooked detective sends a gang of murderous Russian thugs after him, London stoner Sirus realizes he is in way too deep. With a large stash of heroin hidden in watermelons and no way to defend himself, he asks some gun-toting Yardies for protection. They form a plan to outwit the detective's mercenaries by luring them across London using Sirus as bait. But when things go seriously wrong, Sirus finds himself in the line of fire as the Yardies unleash all-out war. Outnumbered and outgunned, Sirus has to sober up fast to stay alive. Such a contemporary British classic. A modern gangster film with characters from the working class who are so unlikeable and ultimately so exaggerated that you don't believe a word of their stories. The story appears tough, but only in a few scenes where blood is splattered. Unfortunately, it's also digital. Nothing that should unsettle or excite you.
