When Robert Watson-Watt (Eddie Izzard) pioneered his radar system that could detect the enemy during war, he hand-picked a team of meteorologists to help him convince the powers that be that it could really work. Struggling on a very small budget and battling personal issues Watson-Watt continued to fight for his dream and by 1939 had developed the world's very first radar system which went on to prove invaluable in winning the Battle of Britain.
