Hippo Hell

The severe dry season of the Luangwa Valley is always harsh. Especially on the hippos, who have to negotiate space in the remaining thread of a river, when the lagoons dry up. We follow the lives of two hippo bachelors and a young mother and her calf as they journey towards this death zone. This year, a large release of Anthrax is also killing the hippos and large numbers of carcasses are found up and down the river to the delight of the crocodiles. Can they survive this 'Hippo Hell'?
