Jonas Mekas - José Luis Guerin: Carta 3. Carta a Jonas Mekas No.2

Guerin's second letter is filmed partly on the frozen Walden Pond. Again, as in the introductory letter, he uses black and white material. Not even here can we escape from a certain narrative grip motivated by the effort to express creative inspiration. In this film, composer, cinephile and pianist Mitch Hampton makes an appearance, as well as Haden Guest from the Harvard Film Archive, a mutual friend of both directors.
