Renáta Žigová was voluntary nurse from the Letanovce gypsy settlement, who, inspite of getting cancer, did not stop her voluntary activities. For her selfless and dedicated work she has been awarded the Gypsy Spirit Prize, but since her religion did not allow her to fully use all the options of treatment, she finally could not receive her prize in person, and therefore it was taken by the social worker Klaudia Nemčíková. It is not only Renata herself and Klaudia, but also Renata´s mother, husband and two sons who tell the stories about Renata and her family life. If she was alive, she would be proud of them. Her sons now continue in the voluntary activities that she started. Their life ambition is to live their life in a better and more valuable way than a gypsy settlement can offer them, but they refuse the idea of living somewhere else. But it is destiny or God that sometimes decide for them. (Jeden svet)
