Serge Buren (Jean Reno) to legenda policji. Skupił wokół siebie młodych i zdolnych gliniarzy, których niekonwencjonalne metody zatrzymań, korzystanie z kijów bejsbolowych i nadużywanie siły budzą sprzeciw komendantury. (Cineman)

angielski One of the weaker cinema visits this year. The Squad is a very bland action film that could have been a success 25 years ago, but has nothing to impress today. Jean Reno phones it in, the only good one is Alban Lenoir, who occasionally adds some wit to the film. The story is very simple with predictable twists and turns, but at least there is some decent action with a few rough fights and decent shootouts, which suffer from logical quirks (a thousand bullets fired and no one is hurt). I expected more from France and zombie expert Benjamin Rocher, at least some brutality would have been enough to be satisfied, something that is not a problem for the director considering his previous works. Back to horror next time, please. 60% ()

angielski In many respects an average action spectacle, but Jean Reno still has a charismatic face (otherwise, unfortunately, it's not worth much, for example, he walks very badly), the shootout scene is good (although it's shot entirely digitally and sparkles like sparklers at Christmas) and the fight in the garage is also good. If it weren't for the brisk direction, it would be good for probably Steven Seagal. ()

angielski A pretty good crime drama where Jean Reno has a role that suits him, and where he may fit even more than in comedies. It's about being an advocate of the old school, a tough guy who isn't afraid to take action, but his new superior doesn't want cowboys, he wants detectives and investigators. But circumstances demand otherwise, and the tough guy still has his place. It's a good movie. ()
